@pgreenlee Well, he was, because he’s 70 years old and Henley’s 62. But my point is they are both great and it’s an individual opinion. Clearly, Henley’s solo work is better if you’ve heard both and sales reflect that. His lyrics are more intelligent and his range in singing is greater. Plus the Eagles are one of the most successful bands in history. The Band was only together about 9 years. many people don’t know Levon had cancer of the throat in about 2000 but recovered.

the best thing aobut music from this time is that they actually could sing so they sound just as good live as they do on the albums unlike todays music where computers change the voices so much they arent recognizable when they sing in concert and suck live or on the albums
